NON-ABRASIVE STEEL STRIPS FOR INTERPROXIMAL TARTAR REMOVAL

Prophylactic Strip is an indispensable aid during prophylaxis procedures. With circular micro-blades located around the holes in one face of the strip it provides a powerful and precise action against the calculus, thus, preserving the integrity of enamel and restorative materials.

Due its thickness of just 0,05mm, it´s very easy to access to the interproximal area.

Comparative study

Image obtained with an enlargement of 50x with a metallographic microscope in vestibular faces of bovine teeth, polished 20 times under controlled pressure, using an abrasive steel strip, a sandpaper finishing strip (less abrasive), and TDV Prophylactic Strip.
